Schnauzers can be a very important part of your life. Schnauzers are most definitely a major influence in our daily lives. Schnauzers are extremely intelligent and are always ready to greet you with a smile. Schnauzers are often said to have a human brain and we often feel that they know what we are thinking, sometimes before we do. Schnauzers were a part of our
life long before our children and grandchildren. We grew up with Schnauzers just as all of our children have. About ten years ago, we decided that we wanted to share these positive bundles of joy and happiness with all of our friends, both new and old. We have never adopted out a puppy to anyone that we did not consider to be one of our new friends. To have one of our puppies, is to have our support and friendship along with the puppy. We will always be there to answer any question that might arise. This has been one of the best decisions we have ever made.
We strive to give our Schnauzers everything a dog can possibly have. We have sent years researching foods and are constantly looking for something better. Our adult dogs get a variety of food along with some raw meats and vegetables. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations and veterinarian visits. These little guys are very important to us and are treated as our children now. They all have toys, beds, room to roam, and lots of love. They are a true blessing to us. We receive far more love from them than we could ever give.
Amherst Acres is our farm in Northeast Texas. We have 100 acres for our dogs to play and take walks with us. We have a few Angus cows that they love to bark at. We also have one Himalayan cat that loves to supervise the farm, our schnauzers, and us. I have had a successful insurance business for 30 years and Prue is a retired school teacher. We have lived here for over 30 years raising children, grandchildren, schnauzers, and Angus cattle. We have been blessed with a great life and our crew of schnauzer friends have been a very large part of it.
